Approfittando di questa occasione vi invio due righi per farvi sapere che stiamo bene; solo mia figlia Angiolina ha subito due operazioni; adesso sta in convalescenza, ma mi è costata cara; e voi che fate? State bene e Roberto sta bene? Sarei molto desiderosa di rivedervi. Saluti dai miei tutti di famiglia e da Amante. Tua sorella Conti Maria
I take advantage of this chance to send you a few lines to tell you that we are fine; only my daughter Angiolina had two operations; now she is recovering. but it was hard (or, it cost a lot); and how are you?
