Does anyone know where I can find the beginning of the birth register for the year 1901 for Reggio Calabria?

Antenati 1901 births begin with record #1160, but I need record #839:

I am not in Italy at the moment so I can't help you directly unfortunately, but I do know that in the State Archives of Reggio there are several gaps in the volumes of the Civil Registry between 1880 and 1905. It is possible that the volume you are looking for is therefore not on "Antenati". However, at the office of the Civil Registry in Reggio all volumes are fully present. You can call or write them for the act you are looking for. My experiences with the willingness of the staff of the office in question are not so positive, but who knows, you may have more luck. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
