NYC Naturalization docs

Hi Folks.

Giuseppe Rienzi (b. 1875 in Italy)
Immigrated to NYC about mid-1890s?
1925 NY Census says he naturalized in Kings County (NY) in 1905.
FYI- Some census years misspelled his name (Renzi).
A different census says he naturalized in 1900.

Is anyone able to locate his Naturalization docs?

Thank you Annetta. We searched FamilySearch and Ancestry and didn’t find anything so we weren’t sure if someone with more search experience and/or access to Fold3 was able to find anything that we could not. Also, since NARA is in the process of transferring their Naturalization records to Philadelphia, we can’t search NARA or send a request to them until the transfer process is completed.

Thanks Annetta but I can't find the information on Nara or FamilySearch, I think the records are being transferred so the information is not updated. We should wait until the transfer is complete.

FamilySearch's portals to Brooklyn naturalizations have always seemed waaaay convoluted to me. And now, if memory serves (big IF!), it seems that reels that I used to be able to navigate to now have added restrictions. Or else I don't have a good grasp of how lost in the convolutions I've gotten. So, Hail Mary with caveats galore, the following suggestion may or may not be helpful.

Brooklyn is in New York's Eastern District, so bear that in mind for your searching.

then scroll down and click to page 2 of 15. Depending on how the surname was spelled, either 1562060/4110902 or 1562061/4110903 might be the roll with the desired docs. Those are the codes, not sure if FamilySearch or NARA.

To get access you will need to go to a Family Search center (and, I think, use their computers). I cannot help you in locating a facility (there used to be one near Lincoln Center, if Manhattan works for you). Hopefully they will not start you off with, "Now, what was your father's name, let's write it on this sheet". And then, if you're lucky, you can get to paw your way searching through the alphabet.

I will also check with USCIS to see if they have a record of Giuseppe Rienzi. If you have experience searching through these sources, I would appreciate your advice!
