D'Aloisio / Preta in Palmoli, Chieti

Post by EssieQ »

Looking for any info - or guidance on where to find it. My great-grandmother was born Marietta D'Aloisio 1895 in Palmoli. Her parents were Antonio D'Aloisio and Maria Annunziata Preta (b. 28 Mar 1857). All of their known children and Annunziata came to the US and settled in Endicott, NY in the early 1900s. Marietta and Annunziata - who was listed as Maria on the passenger manifest were the last to come to the US in 1921, where Maria was listed as a widow.

Via Italia Nati e Battesimi, 1806-1900 on Family Search, I have Maria Annunziata's parents as Bellisario Preta and Maria Sparvieri of Palmoli.

I would like to find out anything more about them when they were in Italy still. I would also be interested in death date of Antonio D'Aloisio or any info on his parents/family.

Other children all born in Palmoli (as far as I know)
Nicola D'Aloisio b.1884
Angelina D'Aloisio b. 1889
Alfonso D'Aloisio b. 1897
