No. 50 on the twelfth day of February one thousand eight hundred and eight. 12 February 1808.
Giovanni Bartolomeo Antonio, son of the late Giacomo Bonetti, and of the late Domenica Ferrari, resident of this parish, died yesterday at ten o'clock in the morning, having received the Holy Sacraments of Confession, Holy Communion and Holy Oil, due to a mortal blow to the lower abdomen received from a mule in the evening before, aged sixty-two years, seven months and twenty-seven days. He had been widowed first by the death of the late Lucia Rizzi, and then for the second time since thirty days by the death of his second wife, Margherita Biagi. His corpse was buried in this church today at the early afternoon hour after the usual funeral services.
In faith, etc., Tommaso Bigi, Parish Priest.

This is fantastic thank you mmogno! I've been waiting for this record for a couple years from the church, it confirms what the Napoleonic death record didn't in that it lists my grandmother Lucia as his first wife. The Napoleonic record only listed Margherita as his wife, and at least my read she was still alive, so I never thought to look for her death record. I had assumed it was him because his son (Giacomo) my GGF x 4 was of the right age in that record as the informant, and when he married in 1808 (later that year) both of his parents were deceased, but nothing tied it together 100%.

I believe I've found Margherita's death record here...curious does it list her parents or where she was born?

The parish priest was unable to locate this 2nd marriage, so now I'm wondering if she wasn't from Ranocchio.

Thanks!

Thank you as always mmogno! I will follow with the parish Rosola to see if they could provide. Based on Pippo's translation for the death of Lucia Ricci (first wife) in 1790, and having small children I'm guessing he likely married her quickly.

Thank you again,
D.
