A birth act surname correction

Post by warriorrabbit »

This is… a correction, he’s saying it’s Lusitano not Lisitano, but I really can’t tell what is what with the dates (was Maria born in May of 1872, then?) and by the way who’s the mom of Maria, does it even say?

Yes, she was born in May 1872, Record No 587, mother's name is not given.

Here is her 1872 Birth Record with mother's name recorded:

Birth No 587 Maria Lusitano (mistakenly recorded as Maria Lisitano and later corrected)

Maria Lusitano was born in Messina on 6 May 1872.

Father Placido Lusitano (but is written Lisitano), 34 yo, land owner, son of Giuseppe.

Mother: Gaetana Miceli
