Apply for Dual Citizenship
Apply for Dual Citizenship
I am torn on deciding how and where to apply for dual citizenship. I have been requested to go through Italianside.com as they can be very efficient and helpful. Both of my grandfathers were born in 1894 and 1895 in Naples and Sora, respectively. Both immigrated to US on or around 1909 and 1913. But before I request birth certificates, marriage certificates and death certificates, I was told that the new rule also complicates thing a little thus recommend to go to Italianside for them to review and investigate exactly what I need to apply. How complicated is it to apply and where you recommend I apply. I understand it takes time but I have heard about Italianside.com being really efficient and helpful. Any insights would be helpful.

Re: Apply for Dual Citizenship
With the present law Italian citizenship iure sanguinis (since birth) is limited to two generations of the Italian emigrated.
In a few months the Corte Costituzionale will decide about the law, there may be changes.
