Buono Family in Lungro, Cosenza, Calabria, Italy

Post by Deborah B. Holt »

Looking for information on Giuseppantonio Francesco Buono, birthdate: 1795 and died Jan. 17, 1862. He was married to Teresa Capperelli, but I do know their marriage date. They lived their entire lives in Lungro, Cosenza, Calabria, Italy.

I specifically am looking for Giuseppantonio's parents' info.

Thank you for any more information anyone can provide.

Or did you mean to say “I do not know their marriage date”?

Anyway something doesn’t look quite right reading at what you’re saying and looking at your online tree.
https://www.familysearch.org/en/tree/pe ... s/PH2S-J1R

First of all Teresa’s surname is Capparelli.
Secondly from her death act in 1833 in Acquaformosa it shows that her parents are Pietro and Serafina Elmo.

A Teresa Capparelli, with those parents, marries in 1829 in Acquaformosa Francesco Baldachino.

Sadly she dies in 1833 after giving birth. Their son also dies.
So, not the Teresa who married Giuseppantonio Buono.

Furthermore that Domenico Buono born in 1823 and mentioned on your tree is not the son of Teresa Capparelli but of Teresa Frega as you can read on his birth act in Lungro.

So, it’s a bit of a mix up.
