Before the official appeared Gaetano Perri, known to the deceased, 45 yo, proprietario (landowner), living in Serrastretta, Strada Timpone, and Domenico Fazio, 50 yo, sediaro, They reported that on the day 24 May 1832, at 11 pm, in the house of the said Perri, Giuseppe Balotta, circa 80 yo, husband of Caterina Ciliberto, born in Castel Vetere, a bracciale (day labourer), living in Feroleto Piano, died. He was the son of the deceased Pietro Balotta and of the deceased Antonina ..........surname not given.

The correct spelling is Giuseppe.

Could someone take a second look at this record and confirm the birth place is Cadtel Vetere. I have found trees on Ancestry that list the birth place as Castlemonardo. Thank you

In both copies of Giuseppe Bilotta’s death certificate, Castel Vetere is listed as his place of birth.
