On 15 June 1839, Giuseppe Dattilo, aged 52, husband of Teresa Scalfaro, died at his home. He was born and lived in Jacurso, worked as a shepherd, and was the son of Francesco Dattilo and Caterina Fraone, both of whom had passed away.
