Because of this transfer ItalianGenealogy.com will not be available this weekend for about 12 to 48 hours.

The DNS of the site is changed, this means that it depents on your internet provider when the new DNS is loaded.

You have access but other visitors can stilll get the maintance page until their provider will use the new DNS. Sometimes this can take up to 72 hours

Do you notice a faster site or is it the same?

For a minute when I tried to log on it was slow (only the first time) but now I only have to click on once and I'm in. There does eem to be a quicker response time although only marginally..I haven't tried it out enough yet to confirm..

I'm going to play with it a bit. I am getting my notifications faster which is a good sign.

Is there any tests you would like us to try?? Any area we need to concentrate on?? We're here for you!

Yes, definitely faster...been clicking on posts all over and no problems.

A little disappointed that I still can't access the Locations database using firefox but maybe thats something you can look into for the future.

Hope others are finding it quicker too...I'm happy!
