Have you checked out the ellis island website for information on the persons you mentioned? You have both names and dates of birth which means that if located on the ellis island records there age shoulkd compare favorably with your dates. The data will also show the town of origin which is mandatory for you to find otu anything or obtain documents. Whgen you say Palermo it is both a large capital city and a provincial capital having jurisdiction over many many towns and villages. Somehow the majority of immigrants came from the provinces rather than the large capital cities. In the interim look for old photos, old letters and postacrds for the date stamps and cancellation stamps to determine the town of origin if you cannot find one. WEhat does family oral history say about the town of origin. Please let me know Peter
