So glad you made it here! Go to www.paginebianche.it and insert Montuori in first line and CAIANELLO (Caiancello does not exist) and then click CERCA and there is a listing for one Montuori and you can write him a letter in simple english sentences or Italian and enclose a self addressed envelope and a dollar for stamps and ask him if he is related to your grandfather. Now when you think about what you want to further research about your grandfather do you wish documents like a birth record?? Peter

You cannot say \"learn whatever I can\" and get away without using your intellect to come up with a research objectivce as to what you want to achieve in learning about your grandfather. since you are the persopn who is going to conduct the research I am not about toi spoon feed you with what I Think you may want to know. So sit down and think about what you want to achieve. ....By the way did you plan on writing to the person surnmaed Montouri in the town of origin as I suggested?? Peter

P.S. If your grandfather was a count in Italy I sugggest youbrowse through the heraldry sites for Italy and see if his name shows up somewhere. www.infokey.com may be of assistance. Peter

go to www.italianancestry.com in poart three is a section for form letters to request documents from the Ufficio di Stato Cvile, in CaianelloSend an enclosed enmvelope and a $5.00 as suggested by the mormon church. Yoiu can also g to the FHL library of the mormon church near you and obtain the microfilm of your family in Caianello as well and you can request the listing for whatever document you wish. Bring a magnifying glasss to rerad th e handwriting. Peter
