How many Jure sangris naturalizations are there?

Over 25 million Italians have emigrated between 1861 and 1960 with a migration boom between 1871 and 1915 when over 13,5 million emigrants left the country for European and overseas destinations.

Does the Italian government keep records of the amount of people that apply for Jure Sangris and how many actually obtain the Italian nationality per year?

Is there also a way to see the records per country

P.S. It´s just for interest, but I always wondered about that

I don't have any idea, but it has been law since 1993. I read someplace on the net that at the chicago consale there have been 80,000. Is that accurate?

That would like 8000 a year and with 250 working days it would be an average of like 30 a day.

Seems a lot to me

But I hope the Buenos Aires consulate gets those figures
