Forese-Pannone For Mom! Walking/Talking @ 88yrs God Bless!

Post by findtheForesi »

Would love to discover info on MariAngela Pannone or Paommone as spelled on Margaret Esposito Birth and Bapt. cert. this is for her!!
Given she does not know where they were from in Italy! We only have a pic of the head stone! BTW..fun to see it as a cameo type pic of her is right on the head stone and in good shape! Wonderful to see the family cared!! ..the only picture Mom has of her!
MaryAngela passd on 11-14-1932..hsbn was Joesph/Giuseppe Forese DOdate 8-12-1951. (grave site at same cemetary)..1930 Fairfield CT census shows them as Giuseppe, Mari, Margaret and mentions those I grew up with: Aunt Rose, Stella, Katherine and one of my favorite uncles Loui out of Lichfield County.. Can't read the oldest ones name well on census? Connecting the dots on this has been a challange. Names have some variation on docs. and I have seen and info on Forese: Ellis Ile records Manifest lines 0016, 0002 ,0027, 0030 make it hard to connect the dots probably bc I am a Newbee!
Will attempt to post 2 pics of them at some point..

VALARI! Is this why they call you the Master! Its all correct and I am soooo impressed with this! We need to get you a few more stars on that Icon!
My God! WHO KNEW! I did not know her parents split up! and her Sisters Made it to St Francis like Nellie and Dominics children! I can understand the Uncles being their but the young girls too!! This answers some of the interesting behaviors I have seen!!! The older ones spent their teens their! I have heard of the older sisters but don't remember much of Marie, Jean and Katherine.
I need to get you some cash for this! Is the Paypal thing the only way to contribute though? When I click on it I can't find USA/English..Just many other countries!
I have the pic of the Mother and will get it on in the AM..I have to get my sister to see this!
I am again very very greatful for this amazing work.. It would take me years to put this together! I have played with this for 3yrs now and only had what you've seen! Thanks again and Best Regards.. Rich

Rich,
We're all happy we could help!
Sometimes it only takes one record to provide
the clues to finding more records. In this case
knowing the children's names really helped!
Once census records are found it makes tracking
down vital records much easier.

Your family appears to have been "in crisis"
abt 1920. Orphanages in the 19th and early 20th
centuries were one solution to keeping the family
together by providing the children with a home
while providing the family some relief to get 'on
their feet'. By 1930 they were all back together :D !

Thank you! Valarie

Hi Valari :!:
Only to clarify: When I look at Moms/Margaret Espositos birth cert it does say Margherita Furesi..1-29-1918
Her Mom is signed Marriangelo Pammone or Pammoue!
The Baptismal Cert from the Holy Rosary Church BPT CT says Faresi 1-29-1918 and Marriangela Pammoue.
I got a copy of Uncle Lou's B Cert. and it says Forese.
Hence the continuos confusion we've had!
Mom has always said her "Mother was from Naples and Father was from Rome"! Trying to trac this is another matter!!

AJ Thanks for your time with this again!!
I don't remember a Patrick in that late family.

You had it right on with your earlier post finding Moms sisters at the orphange and Mom was about 1.5 yo of course living with the Parents on that 1920 census!
At one point they did own a house in BPT. which I think you found also.. This would be another source for study too!

Thanks So Much Again and Enjoy Your Weekend!!
I am sure we will get this soon!

Best Regards
Rich
