Ellis Island

I know that my Mauti ancestors came through Ellis Island. However, the only one I can find is a great aunt. Is there another way to check when they came to this country? I also know that there are Mauti\'s still in Priverno. What is the proper type of thing to say when writing them? Thank you for any help

go to www.Nara.gov/genealogy and submit form 81 to NARA for all those persons whjo you are seeking and for whom you have a full name and at least a year of birth.. If you wish to write to relatives abroad you can write in simple english sentences and ask for wehat you want to know. Peter
