"no records" letter

Post by maddief »

I am currently looking to apply for dual citizenship and recently received a "no records" letter from USCIS. However, the document needs to be translated into Italian. Anyone looking for a project and/or wants to be a huge help, please translate this for me!!! Mille grazie! The letter is what follows:

Dear Miss X,

Your request was received in this office on September 1, 2006, regarding Mr. X. We have completed our search for records responsive to your request but did not locate any. If you still believe that we have records within the scope of your request, and can provide us with additional information, we will conduct another search. If you elect to request another search, we recommend that you NOT follow the appeals procedure described below until we have completed the search.

If you elect to file an appeal, you may submit the finding in this matter by writing to us at USCIS FOIA/PA Appeals Office, 111 Massachusetts Ave., NW, 2nd Floor, Washington, DC 20529 within sixty (60) days of receipt of this letter. Your letter should reference the control number above and the letter and envelope should be clearly marked "FOIA/PA Appeal."

If you should have any additional questions about your request, please direct your inquiries to this office at the above address. You may also call us at 816-350-5570 or fax any correspondence to 816-350-5785.

Sincerely,
T. Diane X [a woman]
