Vorrei richiedere che mi spedica l’estratto completo dell’atto di nascita o battesimo di questa persona. La prego di informarmi se sia possibile ottenere delle fotocopie dei suoi registri e di farmi.

Archivio di Stato CANNOT make certificati or similar, they can only make photocopy of the registers and (as I know) it cost few cents.
But there is another GREAT problem: I just did a phone call to the Archivio di Stato di Brescia and they told me thay don't have Stato Civile documents or similar of people born before 1871. Registers about this stuff could be found only in the parishes. So you have to undestand in which parish your ancestor has been baptisted. That's the only way you have.

You saved me a search. So I may need more New York information - if available before I can search. (Since he use to be a priest but was ex-communicated by the Pope, according to family legend, there may not be any data - even in the Presbyterian church that is available.)
So the founder of my Mom's family may stay a mystery.
