Any Mascia's in Argentina?

Post by angelamascia »

My grandfather's name was Pietro Mascia, born in Colle Sannita, province of Benevento and left for Argentina in the early 1940's. He stayed there until 1953 and then returned to Italy to then spend a few years in New York living with his son, Giovanni Mascia (currently still living in New York). I am trying to find out if I have any uncles and cousins located in Argentina that might be my grandfathers children. If anyone in Argentina knows about a similar story please let me know.

Hi Angela.
At www.apellidositalianos.com.ar, there are five people who look for MASCIA. Did you see them?
If not, just go to www.apellidositalianos.com.ar, enter Listado de Apellidos, then Base de Datos; you can use Buscar Todos los Apellidos or Buscar Apellido Exacto; I always choose the latter.
Besides, there are 42 immigrants named MASCIA at http://213.212.128.168/radici/ie/defaultie.htm.
Good luck!
Greetings from Argentina.
