quick ques: what is Casola di Napoli?

Post by jenalonso »

I found some film records on the Family History Center website.
It has civil registration records for Casola di Napoli. I don't know what "Casola" is or what it means.

I am looking for birth certificates for ancestors born in the center of Naples. Will these records help?

Thanks.

Ok, thanks wishyou...

I guess that won't be of any help then...my ancestors are from the center.

I'm going to Naples next month & I have no idea what I'm in for as far as locating records once I get there...to be honest, I'm not feeling good about it. My Italian is very limited...well, we'll see.

Thanks everyone!

Jenalonso,
We were just recently in France and hired a native speaking guide for a day. It not that expensive, considering what we had already spent on the trip and it made life a lot easier.

I will be going to visit my families home town in Italy next year and that is what I will be planning on doing to help with my research. I was able to find the guide on the internet before I got there.

Good luck,

Louis
