Arbëreshë comunities
Arbëreshë comunities
Hello -
I'm wondering if anyone has information on Albanian Italian history. I've read a little on Wiki, but I'd like more information. I tried Barnes & Noble for history books, but didn't like what I found. Does anyone have any other resources?

My family history could be linked with the Albanian Italians as my relatives reside in Casalvecchio Di Puglia, Foggia.
Thank You!

One such history as it relates to Albanians in Southern Italy is found at www.initaly.com/regions/ethnic/arberesh.htm maybe of interest to you. =Peter=
Re: Arbëreshë comunities
I have a page about the Abereshe on my website (although it is not finished yet) here http://www.calabriangenealogy.com/aberesh.html
But the best resource (which I have linked on my site) is here:
http://www.omda.bg/imir/studies/alban_id11.html
If anyone comes across information on Abereshe names, I would appreciate the information. There are some names in my family tree that could be abereshe but I just don't know.
Thanks.

Great link Laura! I found this link there about Abereshe from Maida. Give it a second to load and you will hear an Abereshe song. Very interesting. Thanks again Laura.

Yes I did but it didn;'t seem relevant to the poster who was asking for something more specific and right up front, =Peter=
Re: Arbëreshë comunities
I forgot this site. They have Abereshe documents but the site is in Spanish.
