possible 1942 WWII Draft Registration Card
Filippo Federici 48
Galloway Bx #1, Barbour, WV
Born 23 Aug 1894 in
Ischia di Castro (Viterbo) Rome

edit: added
page 2 is incorrect:
Note regarding the images for the states of PA, MD, WV, and DE.
These four states were scanned at the National Archives facility in
such a way that the back of one person’s draft card appears on the
same image as the front of the next individual.
The result is that when you click to view the original image, you will
see the correct front side of the draft card, but the back of the previous
soldier’s card.
Ancestry is aware of this problem, and is working to correct this issue.

Possible 1913 manifest for Filippo b. 1894......line 19. Lists his mother in Italy but I can't read her name, also lists a town or province but can't make that out either

Elizabeth & Bella,
You're right that's a tough one
I tried looking up Ischia di Castro on this map
(find the town under the 'populated place' tab)
nothing looks close to the town his mother lived in...

Nice find's VJ. I thought the manifest said Ischia and I found two

Ischia, province: Napoli - region: Campania
Ischia di Castro, province: Viterbo - region: Lazio

I've found a few other manifests for Ischia di Castro with the surname Federici.

Hey Elizabeth :D !
No doubt Filippo has at least one more
- after he served in WWI
Perhaps it will be easier to read.

Here is an entire family of Federici from Ischia di Castro coming in 1913 also, but did not sail........ Lines 26, 27, 28 and 29. Lines 27, 28 and 29 are daughters and son(s) so I'm assuming line 26 is the mother. Line 25 looks like he's traveling with them but he is not the father.

I am from Morgantown, wv ,I am related to Federici, Focarelli Dorinzi,
santucci, Almost all my family came from Ischia di Castro. Its a
small town I was there many times. the Federici , Focarelli came over
together with others allot of family's in and around Morgantown wv.
came from Ischia Di Castro. I saw where (Corchiani) came over the same
time as my uncle Geremia Focarelli.
