I know the D'Angelo family form Cesacastina, have been there several times. They had a sawmill (segheria) in the town, have since moved the factory to Basciano near the autostrada next to Montorio. It is a very special place to visit.
The town of my ancestors is Valle San Giovanni not too far away and towards Teramo.

There is a Facebook group for Cesacastina. 12/2008 it had about 140 members. An excellent resource for anyone interested in gathering information about this lovely village.
