Very funny! I know a married couple Giovanni ed Ida! Should I send the site to them? I guess not!
I could understand well, but not sure which dialect it is? Neapolitan? Does not sound cusentino.

I believe they are Reggitano. I can almost certainly bet on it (my Dad has the same accent). That is why the similarity to Sicilian since many of the words are close.
By the way Sofia..there is a thread about this video that Biff and I had some fun with a while back. It takes places in Toronto... they are Italo-Canadian and actually played here last month.

Hey, Nuccia.
We did have some fun on that thread. I think we also dragged Lee into our craziness on a late Friday/early Saturday evening.
Here's another featuring Rosina and a phone call from the American Express call center in India. UH OHH!!.

Hi Nuccia
This is too much! I love it! Dialects are wonderful!
The problem with me is that I tend to pick up words in other languages, file them somewhere, and disaster, they pop -up at the most inconvenient times and places. I got a bunch of good ones now...
Thanks so much!

Sofia,
I have picked up a few of my own "new" words in different dialects so I know what you mean.

Re: Pasquale and Rosina's Regretful Son
I assure you, the dialect is calabrese from the Catanzaro province.
