Yes, and after all that kerfuffle and shouting - and our interest, he's probably not even read it....Luke wrote:Elba You got almost all of it the parts with glare or simply faded I can't make out either.
I wonder why we bother sometimes

Ok gentlemen,
I think we are all - myself included - loosing track of the original question here. It was a simple request for a translation of, what may seem to some, a somewhat dubious document as far as historical veracity/content goes.
But despite that, he just asked for for a translation. Nothing more, nothing less. That was provided as best as was possible given the poor quality of the original photograph. As far as the quality and value of the content is concerned I really feel that should be left to the original poster to decide.
Perhaps we will soon be afforded an insight as to the importance of this with regard to the posters family.

I agree..lets get back to the original question. There are several sites that talk about Coats of Arms, many of which are not very reliable. I have a family member who has a Coat of Arms and when I go to look online for it, it just isn't the same..or there are several different versions.
I think we need to see if someone knows of a reliable site or source where we can direct the poster to.

Hai ragione Elba.
