Bono/Davi

I am researching my Sicilian line. Antonino Davi b.1874 married Giuseppa/Josephine Bono b. 1882. They had 3 sons. VincenzoVincent b.1901, Salvatore/Sam b.1903 and Pietro/Pete b.1905. Josephine sailed from Palermo 1911 with her 3 sons. The manifest states they were from Monreale and she was meeting her husband who resided in New York. They ended up in Santa Clara, Ca.
Josephine used to speak of her growing up in the hills near Palermo. I think she talked about Cabrella??? It was a C name. Does anyone know of this area or how I can find other Bono's. I do not know her parents names but I am assuming her Fathers name was Salvatore Bono, if they stuck to tradition in the naming. Also my Davi line ends here too. I don't know Antonio's parents names but am hoping his father was Vincenzo Davi.

I thought that Cabrella might be a "frazione" (suburb or adjoining hamlet under Monreale administration) but there are none close sounding and the only other place not mentioned is Rocca Monreale which is within Monreale jurisdiction and is a "frazione". There are no others. Sorry.=Peter=

Bummer I don't see any of the municipalities that sound like Cabrella:(
But could be wrong as she didn't speak English really, and I do not speak Sicilian/Italian.

I believe Camporeale would be correct. If you pronounce the name fast (as in italian) it would sound like Cabrella (sp). Here is a map link and you can select satellite to see the terrain.

I believe it is Carrubella in Monreale itself and probably is a neighborhood since there is a hotel with that name in Monreale...=Peter=

I agree with Peter. Moreover I read the decription of the hotel :

The hotel is situated at the top of a hill in the small settlement of Monreale, away Palermo, yet within easy access by bus to the city.

So possible this is the place....
