I think Spinola is saying that the Surname database does not function
properly. When you click the link it says: sorry such file doesn't
exist. I suppose its something for the moderators to fix.
I already explained that to him in another private message..This guy is all over the place and does not know that he can converse in the same inquiry without starting a new inquiry each time soemthing pops into his head. Thanks anyway. Peter
The surname database is not functioning properly. That is the point. Not wether someones sentance structure or grammar are correct, you are avoiding the point, the page does not work. on June 14 2004 it is not functioning and hasn't been for at least two days.
Not sure what everyone is refering to... However, I had the Surname Database in my favorites...after the update, that link no longer worked correctly. I would keep getting an error message of some sort...
I eventually got back into the site without using the link in favorites. I deleted the old link, put in the new link in favorites and have had no problem since then. Not sure why this worked, but maybe there is a link problem that others are having.
Try access through another route and see if it does not work and then re-write that link to favorites.
This might not refer to your problem, but thought I would send just in case.
No, it hasn't been working for me either. When I click on the "Italian Surnames" (on the home page under Main Menu -> Databases), I get a page with the message:
Sorry, such file doesn't exist...
I don't know any other route to get to the database.

Finally understand what you are looking at....and it doesn't work....you are correct.... get the same message.
