Hi and welcome to the forum, :D

If you want help, you must be more specific about your request. Can you give us your grandfather's name, date and/or place of birth? Immigration data? The more info you give us, the better we can help you.

Hello & Welcome, Check US census records for citizenship status at ancestry.com, they have a free two week trial.

On getting birth certifcate from a small town in Italy which presumably you can identify as well as Marriiage and death certificates, military records etc you can go to the following website for explanation and form letters in Italian.

Two Grandfathers were from Italy
Pietro Ferrero , Born 1878, at Paterno Calabro
Came to the US in 1901, at 23
I understand he was a Naturalized . He lived in Corona and weir Kanas.

I wish to get a certified copy of the Certificate of Naturalization, dated Jan 18th, 1923,
Can you tell me where to send for a cert. copy?

second Grandfather Franco DeCicco, Born Italy May 19th 1882, also lived in Kanas. Died in Stockton, Calif No other info
Thanks for any help. Sue

Sue,

You have a date for his naturalization. Do you know what state he was naturalized in? Or the district court?

The Date Pietro Ferraro was Naturalized was JAN 18, 1923, MY guess is he was Naturalized in Kansas, near Pittsburg.
I have more info on the r Ferraro's family than the DeCicco's. I plan to go to the research class at the Later Day Saints to view the cenus.
Some of the family think Franco DeCicco first went to South America. TThanks so much, this is fun.
When I finish this I'll try and do my family
