Italian Passport

Post by ChrisMosca »

I have a question, my grandfather left italy in 1929 to Argentina he was only 18 yrs old, did he have to apply for a passport during that time? and if so is there somewhere in italy where they may have copies or any info about it? I would love to be able to get a copy of his passport application like you can on the U.S.
Thanks for taking the time!!!

thank you Laura for the link. My grandfather was born in the Province of Macerata in Treia so that means I won't be able to find his passport. Thanks again.

It's likely there is no record of a passport, but I would still try, miricles do happen. But not to be disapointed if there is none, but its worth a letter...
