Lombardi and orsini surnames

Laura thank you so much for your help. Its amazing to me that you found all these records it means a lot to me to see the actual marriage certificate, even though it dosen't tell very much.

I am amazed. I looked over the new york passenger list that you sent me and said it was very interesting and it was.

Looks to me Like concetta came to the country during 1872, met Giovanni (John) Proscino, and got married. had children, went back to Italy then returned to the united states again to meet her husband that that is where the passenger lists comes in.

Do you agree? sounds like they are from Alife and that the fathers name is Domenico Lombardi.

My concetta was born in 1879 which in 1909 would have made her.... nearly 30.. I feel that it is right though. The chances of it being wrong would be very much a surprise. Let me know what you think

This is Aliza. We have spoken on email before. I am a distant cousin of yours and professional genealogist. I have been working on our genealogy for years. I am the one that connected your Prosceno line to my Proscino line (original spelling). I have the family line back to around 1720.

Star and I are cousins (our grandfathers were brothers).

Aunt anna told me that Grandmom Concetta had a brother named Marshall Lombardi, and that all the lombardis in stanton are our cousins. I know we have to take that with a grain of salt, but nonetheless something interesting to check into!

My great,great, great grandfather was Domenic Lombardi.he died in wilington,de.i have a copy of his death certificate and his will.these articles can be found at the delaware archives in dover, delaware.
one of his children,concetta , is my greatmother.she was married twice.concetta married giovonni prosceno.both of them died in wilmington,delaware.one of their children, francis(frank) was my greatfather.he married gilda pacelli.both died in wilmington,de. frank and gilda had four children.Joesh,robert,francis and theresa.my mother,theresa, has told me stories of her grandparents and her grandfather ,domenic.
wills ,deaths certificates,etc, can be found at the delaware archives in dover,delaware. the only document i haven't been able to locate is my greatfather's birth record. i have aquired family stories and death cards for several family members(dead) from my mother.there are alot of lombardis',pacellis,and proscenos' located in delaware,philadelphia and surrounding areas.but these family desendands can be found all over the country and in itaiy.
