What does "Vitaguive " mean?

Post by smalluck »

On a marriage document,I assume that both parents of the groom were deceased because they had the word 'fu' before their names. They were listed as "residente in vitaguive". Is this a phrase meaning 'where the woodbine twineth, or is this a legit town down the road?

'residente in vita' means they lived in the town named during their lives.

"Vitaguive" doesn't exist. I think it could be: "residente in vita quivi" that means "resident in this place during his life".
"Quivi" is a word that we don't use anymore nowadays.
