I'm sorry, Sandra, but I don't speak Spanish. What is your Grandfather's name? I have a database of Oratino families, 1809-1910. If you know the names of your Great Grandparents, I might be able to help you.

Re: PETTI Family from Oratino (CB)
John,
I have been doing my family genealogy and have been having trouble getting information on my grandparents & great-grandparents.
They are both from Oratino. His name was Francesco Santorelli (b 1871) & she was Filomena (Philomena) Tizzano (b 1881).
Would you be able to assist me?
Thanks,

Re: PETTI Family from Oratino (CB)
Hi Diane
Yes, I have your family in my database. Francesco Annunziato Antonio Santorelli was born on 25 MAR 1872 in Oratino, the son of Vincenzo Francescantonio Santorelli (born 04 OCT 1832 in Oratino) and Maria Maddalena Carroscia (born 30 APR 1832 in Oratino) . He married Filomena Tizzano on 09 MAY 1895 in Oratino. Filomena Tizzano was born on 12 AUG 1877 in Oratino, the daughter of Pietro Tizzano (born 07 NOV 1837 in Oratino) and Vittoria Fatica (born 12 OCT 1846 in Oratino).
I did respond to your post on the MSN Oratino Group about two years ago, but I guess we missed each other. The MSN Group Service is now closed. However, at that time I had posted an Ahnentafel Chart for Santorelli-Tizzano. If you like I can post it here or send it to you via e-mail. Let me know.
PS: I see that you were raised in Cleveland. The last two times I was in Oratino I met Eileen Mastrangelo, who grew up in Cleveland but married Nick Mastrangelo of Oratino and moved there. I also met a group of people from Cleveland who were visiting. As you know, there is a big connection between Cleveland and Oratino. What a beautiful town (Oratino, that is)!

Do you have any Latessa's in your database? My great grandfather is Bonifacio Latessa(b1891), originally from Oratino, immigrated to the U.S. sometime around 1912 and settled in Cleveland area.

Re: PETTI Family from Oratino (CB)
Sure, I have a lot of Latessa entries in my database. In fact, my 5GGF was Marziale Latessa (born circa 1743 in Oratino), who married Anna Saveria Vasile of Campobasso on 25 SEP 1782 in CB. Actually, I have 4 entries under Bonifacio Latessa, but none of them appear to be your GGF. I suspect he was married in the USA or after 1910. Can you give me the name of your GGF's parents or wife?
BTW, are you Cody Russell?

Yes, my name is Cody Russell.
I did find my GGF's mothers name at one time, but I am unable to find it at the moment. If memory serves me correctly it was something like Angelica (I do know it started with a A). I have his birth certificate from Oratino. It reads. " che Latessa Bonifacio(atto n 18) e nate in Oratino il di 28 febbraio 1894 come risulta dal registro degli atti di nascita del'anno 1894 parte prima Numero 18--. In fede si rilasioa in carta libera per use di pen+si one
