translation needed of information on death certificate

Post by misschristi16 »

I have a copy of two family death certificates from Italy.

I have translated pretty well, the info they put on the certificate, but cannot make out what was handwritten.

I would love if someone would help me figure out what it says. I cannot make out the months, days, time, names, nothing.

Boy, I wish I knew some italian!

Hoping to hear from someone who is willing to help.

Thanks from this helpless American!

Thanks for letting me know that. Let me see if this helps.

Here are the links, in case I dont get the images to post:

2. http://imagehost.vendio.com/a/10439426/ ... lmieri.jpg

Yesterday, it kept telling me the file was to big to go on this forum, so I tried to shrink it, but that obviously did not work.
So, please let me know if they come up on the web pages listed.

Thanks for your help.

While it comes thru and even increases in size, it is insufficiently large for me to see the wording inthe margins as requested. I even used a magnifyingglass but my vision was still limited. sorry. =Peter=

Christi, you should upload the images, with NO shrinking, to imagehost, imageshack, photobucjket or any other website and provide the link in this forum...

I will post new scans with no reduction in size.

Ok, Lets try this one more time

Please let me know if this works. If not, maybe I can email the picture to someone? I hope you can help me. I put both the link, and the direct picture. Maybe the picture will be clearer on one than the other.
These are microfilm copies, two different death certificates. I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks.

Christi

Wow--that is awesome.

I thought I had it pretty well translated on the form side--but, I dont understand anything you wrote.

Is there a way you can write it in English?
I would appreciate it.
Thanks.
If not, just knowing the towns and names was most important to me.
Thank you thank you thank you!

The first one states:

Rosa Verrillo, widow of Domenicantonio Cascarino, died on Sept 12, 1847 aged 81. She was the daughter of Antonio Verrilli and Maria Palmieri.

The second one states:

Domenicantonio Cascarino, husband or Rosa Verrillo, died on March 9, 1833, aged 70, son of Andrea Cascarino and Luisa Spinianillo(?)
