looking for records of great grandfather

Post by belmoro19 »

Hello everyone,
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. I am looking for any documents relating to my great grandfather.
This is his information:

Alfonso Ridolfi
born December 8,1897 in Giulianova, Italy (abruzzo)
Resided in Philadelphia until 1988 when he passed.
I believe his parents were Luigi Ridolfi and Teresa

Any info that anyone can share would be helpful.Thank you in advance

Go to http://www.angelfire.com/ok3/pearlsofwi ... tters.html
and send forms to address located under Municipio at Giulianova website www.tuttitalia.it/abruzzo/20-giulianova. Mail form letter to the Ufficio di Stato Civile in Giulianova. Its free of charge and make request for each document separately if you want more than one document. =Peter=

Alfonso had (at least) a brother Giuseppe.. this is the 1923 Giuseppe's arrival manifest:

page 2:
http://www.ellisisland.org/EIFile/popup ... &line=0030

Giuseppe (age 23, single) stated he was leaving in Italy (Giulianova) his father Luigi, he was joining his brother Alfonso Ridolfi in Philadelphia 4938 Kershaw? street.

Possible first arrival for Alfonso?
December 10, 1920:

page 2:
http://www.ellisisland.org/EIFile/popup ... &line=0025

Alfonso Ridolfo, age 30, married, shoemaker, leaving in Giulianova his wife Rosina, joining his uncle Iani in Philadelphia. He was travelling with his sister Ottavia Ridolfo (age 32) single, housewife...

The dates of this person are matching with the WWII draft Registration Card that Wldspirit found:

Dear Belmoro for some strange reason the website for Giulianova www.tuttitalia.it/abruzzo/20-giulianova does not come up when you click on the blue lettering on my PC at least so if you experience the same problem just put it in manually in your PC. Sorry for any inconvenience.=Peter=
