It seems that maybe we are talking about two different people.
In my family records Pasquale Gioscia was born in Naples June 11 1819. He was the only son of Vittorio Antonio Gioscia born in Cagliarai (sardinia) and his mother was.
According to my family records Vittorio and Carolina Scagliardo divorces and Pasquale was with her, but she died, so Pasquale was briefly recalled by Carolia s father but was interned in a school. He later traveled to Potenza and opened a Tavern in 1846
He married Maria Teresa Pelletieie born april 5 1834.
They had 8 children.
Maybe this Pasquale born in Naples to Vittorio and Carolina was not the same as the Pasquale you mentioned was son of Giusseppe?
