Wow! You guys are great...

These last few days... I've noticed that Ancestry keeps making me put in my password... way too many times... (I am aware of the "remember" password feature on my browser...) and I'd wish they'd stop bringing me to the Canadian Ancestry.com... !! I guess they assume that I automatically want Canadian records...

Imageshack is not what it used to be...

and Steve Morse's site is having problems...

Under these circumstances, you all have been able to get info for people... you guys are wonderful!!

I will look for other sites like image shack...

Hey Maria......... :D

Just used a site for the Mandarino post, load time was a snap, no dragging and the image came right up......I was impressed....however..... :?
It has limits on gb and kb........so me being the self taught computer guru here........have NO understanding of what that means...........

Tried getting an account, but since I don't want any of the "free" offers, I can't get one......don't think you should be forced to receive things, just to use a site.

Can we find another hosting service??

In the upper corner, right? left?....there is an option to skip the ads, which is what I did........
I would not dream of being bothered with junk mail, it's bad enough someone here at this site has been sending out spam..... :(

Imagecave says...
"Free accounts get 10MB of image storage, and 1GB of monthly data transfer"
---------------------------------------------------------------
The images I have posted in the past using Imageshack - were about 1 Megabyte in size

1 Kilobyte - 1024 bytes.

1 Megabyte - 1024 kilobytes

1 Gigabyte - 1024 megabytes

I like that link!! Looking into putting up my own website for the family genealogy.....but that is even more confusing than the image hostings.......perhaps I should look into the web development class at our local jr college....only a one day class........

so we would roughly be able to store about 10 images???? :?
