What document do you have that says they were from Lentini?

Sometimes I wonder whether Lentini was the correct place...


If Frank was illegitimate... don't you think he would have his mother's maiden name instead of Collett_ ?

I spent some time last night looking into things.. and can't seem to get a good lead from the info you provided...... something just doesn't seem right...

We need to look at the naming patterns of Franks children... like Eugenio, Enrico, Cecilia... etc....

This Francesco (born about 1891) named his one of his children... Enrico... maybe an uncle... maybe his brother... I don't know...

So, looked for any Enrico Colletti and found this one... off to New Orleans!!

I don't have anything that shows he was from lentini. I just found that on Familysearch.org using my grandfathers name. Frank Edward Colette. My mother said that the Census that VJ found was correct.
