I am also looking for documents related to Cesare Guiel/Gujel and Elvira Cocchi--they were my great grandparents. I've found several family trees that show Cesare as the only Guiel before him, with his parents and several siblings being Gujel. I was wondering if he was somehow removed from his family. I've also found evidence that Elvira was from San Giovanni In Persiceto, and I wanted to verify that this is true.
How do you think Casare would have been named at birth in Teviso? Cesare Gujel? Also, does anyone know about his death in 1943? I've been told he committed suicide, but I can't find much information.
