Graduated New Haven High in 1927, Albertus Magnus in 1931 and Yale Graduate School in 1933. Began her teaching career in the Commerical Evening High School in 1935 and substitued at Fair Haven Junior High. Since 1936 teaching Latin and Romance Languages at the Bassett Junior High. Residence 401 Grand Avenue, New Haven, CT (1942).

Wow...Joseph Bianchi was my ggf and Josephine (also known as Prosperina) was my ggm. I am still researching both of their maternal and paternal ancestry lines back to Modena. I may have to pay someone from Italy to do it as I cannot speak Italian!. Thanks for the extra info anyway!

There is a Thomas A. Basile, Born in Scigliano, Cosenza Italy, May 20 1897. Son of Nicola Basile and Caterina Talarico. Was brought to America in 1904 settling in New Britaian, Conn.

There is a William J. Basile, State Director of Finance. Born in Middletown, Conn. 10/31/1902. Son of Matthew Basile and Lilla Bertini. His grandfather Antonio Basile was the first Italian American settler in Middletown.

No Corabi.

Rosano and Rosia but no Rosa. Both families were in New Britian.

Wonderful of you to do this. I'm going to have a reunion in Brooklyn and I believe there are Terzano's in Conn. but I can't be sure. I don't know if they went there originally or found their way more recently. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
