Wow...Joseph Bianchi was my ggf and Josephine (also known as Prosperina) was my ggm. I am still researching both of their maternal and paternal ancestry lines back to Modena. I may have to pay someone from Italy to do it as I cannot speak Italian!. Thanks for the extra info anyway!DeborahLar wrote:Bianchi:

There is a Thomas A. Basile, Born in Scigliano, Cosenza Italy, May 20 1897. Son of Nicola Basile and Caterina Talarico. Was brought to America in 1904 settling in New Britaian, Conn.
There is a William J. Basile, State Director of Finance. Born in Middletown, Conn. 10/31/1902. Son of Matthew Basile and Lilla Bertini. His grandfather Antonio Basile was the first Italian American settler in Middletown.
No Corabi.
If you think this is your Basile family let me know and I can post some additonal information which appears on the page.

Wonderful of you to do this. I'm going to have a reunion in Brooklyn and I believe there are Terzano's in Conn. but I can't be sure. I don't know if they went there originally or found their way more recently. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
