Thank you, he put his kids into an orphanage and that is why you show my Aunt (Opal), My uncle (Edward) and my father (George) in orphanages. It is my belief that he could write....he may not have been able to when he first came in 1909/1910, may have learned later. My fathers grandmother wanted to take the kids in after the death of their mother.....my grandfather, knew this and may have been trying to hide so that she couldn't have the kids.
