Looking for info on Stango and Tamburrino
Re: Looking for info on Stango and Tamburrino
You're welcome. Most people probably have Ancestry, so they haven't noticed.
I haven't sprung for a subscription yet.

The last column of that Manifest is quite eerie.... Date and cause of death.... and there is 10 entries out of about 47 names on that page...

Do you believe Canio's parents to be:
Guiseppe Tamburino
Spouse: Maria Beccaia
Guiseppe Tamburino
Spouse: Maria Beccaia
Re: Looking for info on Stango and Tamburrino
I saw somebody elses tree with that information but I don't believe it to be correct due to the years of birth of Guiseppe Tamburrino and Maria

The one I saw didn't have years of birth... the poster lived in Michigan... I was just trying to determine if it was your post, or someone you may want to follow up with...

Yeah, I had gotten in contact with them not too long ago. We are distant relatives but they have no additional information for me unfortunately.

Re: Looking for info on Stango and Tamburrino
It amazes me how they can come up with names, without anything to support it...
Okay, so we pretty much have found a few things... but not the buried treasure... The place of birth for both Canio and Teresa would be the pot of gold... Do you think they got married in NYC?
You say you have his naturalization papers? Do you have an image to share?

No I don't. However there isn't any info on their marriage in it anyhow. However, Ancona, the tree you were looking at before says that they were married Dec 10, 1896 in NYC. I sent out a request, just waiting for the document to be mailed to me if they find it. In 1896, Teresa was just 13 almost 14. Plus their first kid was born in 1898. So I am thinking the date is incorrect.

Re: Looking for info on Stango and Tamburrino
Do you have Teresa's manifest or was she born in the US?
Re: Looking for info on Stango and Tamburrino
I assume she was born in Italy as the mother Margarete didn't arrive until 1886( as per 1900 census) and teresa was born in 1883. Her father, Pietro arrived in 1882. Couldn't find a manifest for any of them
Re: Looking for info on Stango and Tamburrino
When you said you had all the US records, I though you meant the shop's manifests as well. My mistake! I'll start looking for manifests.
