Info on Gambino family line

[fuzzybunnies]

If someone could help with this, it has been harder to trace this family line then I suspected.

Right now I have

Myself Russ Roth
Parents Norman and Donna (Muir) Roth
Parents of Donna Muir Roth are Russ Muir and Joan Arlene (Zimmerman) Muir
Parents of Russ Muir are Frederick Muir and Jennie (Gambino) Muir

Jennie (Gambino) Muir's siblings are Fred or Frederick, Charles, Dominick, Frances, Rose, Margaret, and Violet.
Her parents are Dominick and Frances Gambino

I know this line does connect to the crime family though how and where I don't know, can anyone trace this further back or direct me to a website that contains the information?

Your best bet is to become familiar with Italian genealogy by going to http://www.angelfire.com/ok3/pearlsofwi ... earch.html and then trace the crime family Gambino on www.google.com and see if there is an intersection of your family and the other family by research cities, towns or villages in the same provinces or regions of Sicily. Please don't hesitate to get back to us for any roadblocks you may run into. Lots of luck. =Peter=

My great grandmother, Carolina Carbone, married a Gambino after my great grandfather passed away. I do know that Carolina had sons and daugters but only know the name of 2 sons. Guiseppe (my grandfather) and Pietro.
Somewhere in the tree we could be related.
