In case you haven't seen it, this article may help explain some of your family's given names:

Italian Naming Traditions and their Ramifications
http://italiangenealogy.tardio.com/News ... id=22.html
There has been a strong custom in Italy that determines how children are named:

The first male is named after his paternal grandfather.
The second male is named after his maternal grandfather.
The first female is named after her paternal grandmother.
The second female is named after her maternal grandmother.

Harry is Lena and Joseph Pape Jr's son. So Corinne would be their daughter.

The census records and some of the manifests are from ancestry. com - many of us on the forum have a subscription.
Ancestry. com is also available on site at many libraries.

Some manifests are from Ellis Island
http://stevemorse.org/ellis2/ellisgold.html

A great free site for some census records and NY ship manifests:
http://search.labs.familysearch.org/rec ... 7819#start

Finding census records and ship manifests is usually only the first step.
Using the information on them to find and order original birth marriage and death records is generally the more involved next step  .

It appears that the Provenzano family on the 1910 census is related to Francesco's wife Maria Provenzano Oddo

I already have that program but thank you for pointing it out to me. I have been putting all of this information in as I've been gaining it. I dont know much of anything about the Provenzano family, as I've never heard of them.

I was wondering if you knew how I could find information about my German relatives as well.
