He owned a soft drink store after he retired from the KC Police.

He was killed 5-9-24 by the mafia on the same street corner as his partner, Joseph Raimo did Mar 1911.

At the time they believed that they had infomation on the "Black Hand" (a sicilian mafia group)which is apparently a big think in KC history.

He retired, but they believed his demise was a result of revenge 13 years later!

At the bottom of the article it states my Gr Grandfather, Sam Girard, (who I am looking for dod etc for) was involved in a homicide of Charles Gatto the year before, was charged and released.

But.......if later...they found more evidence, maybe that explains the lack of information form 1924 on to his death.

I CANNOT fine Giuseppe (jeiseppe) Pusateri born 1860. He went by Joseph or Joe and the last I can find is by 1920 his wife Annie Fasone was a widow for sure by her death Dec 20,, 1943 as possibly a widow prior to 1920. Ama Pusatri, head of household so, somewhere between 1900-1920 he died. They also have his name spelled Jeiseppe

He died between 1905/06 and 1910 .... this is the 1910 census for Anna (already widow):

Finding the towns are going to be tricky!

I called cemetaries in KC and found a Sam Girard at Calvary Cemetary dod 1936. They will not give my any more info.

Don't you think if he was buried in KC there would be some record of his death? PS The funeral home is closed So I am trying to locate who has the records. FUN FUN FUN

But Girolamo and Angelina Girardi were Sam's Parents... , I'm talking about Annie Pusateri, Annie Pusateri was Mary Pusateri's mother...

Look at the addres: 555 Campbell Street, living next door to Sam Gerardi and Mary (her daughter)....

Giuseppe/Joseph Pusateri died between 1906-1910.

Yes, I am with you but now I know he died after 1931 because he is on his brother Tonys death cert.

I don't think they moved because the Cemetery says they have a Sam Girard listed as dod 1936.

Why, oh why, can't I find that death cert?

Can anyone look up Guiseppe Pusateri (Pusterla, Pastorelli) on ancestry world in death notices Como, Leche, Lombardy.

The name is similar and I am grasping at straws there are DOD's of 1902,1904,1906,1910.

Maybe Guiseppe (Joseph) Pusateri went home and died there?

There are such big evidences that all these ancestors came from South of Italy... Why do you believe Giuseppe was from Como (which is in the very north of Italy?)

I was just grasping at straws on the death cert in Como. I have searched the Mo digital database frontward and back for both Sam Girard and Guiseppe Pusateri.

Thanks for the other sites. THey are very helpful and I have bookmarked them!

I found the Boston manifest and believed too that she left and same back in 1904.

Now I will scrounge up another $50 to access the termini site LOL
