ya that right i have no idea why it says munson though? i am trying to figure out what part of sicily they are from i know it says alimena i cant find anything there

Latnames were often mispelled, many of the immigrants were illiterate so it was difficult for them to spell their correct names and lastname.. and very often lastnames and names were "americanized" to better integrate in the new world...

i have found a grave site near where i live that is a tomassio chiodo do you like this might me the same i dont know where de prima came from but that could totally be right i have went to the grave site he died young at 1 or 9 is really hard to read i know dont think he would married att 9 but maybe someone close

Tomaso Chiodo, died on July 14, 1912, he was 9 months old, son of Salvatore Chiodo and Rosa Federico... He was buried in the St. Mary Cemetery on 15 july 1912... is this the cemetery you visited?
