Village: Frattolillo near/in Apice/ Benevento

Is anyone familiar with the village (small town) of Frattolillo?

My Italian side is Frattolillo from Apice. I just realized there is a small commune/town named Frattolillo. I assume these are relatives of mine?

Anyone familiar with this area?

There may very well be a connection.

This mapping tool ( http://www.gens.labo.net/en/cognomi/gen ... &t=cognomi ) shows the name is present in small numbers in many parts of Italy, but the greatest concentration is in the Napoli/Apice area.

The Italian telephone directory ( http://www.paginebianche.it/execute.cgi ... be=40&l=en ) can also be useful in this matter.

By the way, the Frattolillo you are looking at is not actually a comune, but a frazione of Comune di Apice. A frazione (literally, a "fraction") is a small village or hamlet which falls under the domain of a nearby larger comune for administrative purposes. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frazione
