Thank you for the link about Ponza. I have some photographs from my parents trip there in 1972. I had the chance to accompany them but I had just started a new job. That was the mistake of a lifetime. I will never likely see my ancestor's except in photographs. But where I live I am close to the water and I am grateful for that. The same waters my father loved during his life here in America.

So, after revising all these birth records I can be pretty sure that the two Antonio Migliaccio (one son of Aniello [your great-grandfather born on 1871] and the other one son of Giovanni [born on 1881]) were cousins ... this because both their fathers Aniello and Giovanni were listed in all the birth acts of their children as ..."son on the late Antonio"... possibly they were brothers

Ciao Anthony. I lived in Wilmington and the road to Tuckahoe was the short cut to Wildwood. Not everybody knew how to go that way because it was back in the sticks. It never occurred to me when I was a kid that anybody lived in Tuckahoe but it was definitely a good place for growing vegetables. Sounds like your ancestors must have been Contadini like mine.
