Nicholas DeCarlo
Nicholas DeCarlo
Looking for information about my grandfather's nephew Nicholas DeCarlo. According to the 1930 U.S. Census, he was born abt 1911 in Italy and emigrated to the U.S. in 1928. He was living with my grandfather Joseph Stambo (formerly Giuseppe Stampone) in Plainfield, Union, New Jersey, USA in 1930. To date I have not been able to find his passenger record or determine what happened to him after 1930 as he was not living with my grandfather according to the 1940 U.S. Census.

Re: Nicholas DeCarlo
I saw that record. The dates match but it can't be him. He was living with his brother Frank in St. Louis, Missouri in 1930 while mine was in Plainfield, New Jersey at the same time according to the 1930 U.S. Census.
