nicotera's in Italy

here's the scoop need guidance on finding family we know exist from nicastro,

My grandfather traveled over around 1878 to 1880 migrated to utica n.y.
My grandmother same but did not know her at the time they were young.then met got married.

My grandfather died 1975 at age 97 give or take typical?
My grandmother died many years before. They had 9 children

MyAunts traveled to italy some 20 years ago they are now deceased and found the nicotera's, Myself I now reside in va with all my relatives being in ny, my children are all grown and going to make a trip in the spring to italy, my dad told us what he knows.

Grandmother's mother was a Desantis.

From what I gather over the years my grandfather left many relatives there incl mother father cousins ect.
