I went to the website. You have done a lot of work. I saw you have my uncle Alberto and my aunt Giovanna listed. They both passed away within the last ten years. My cousins Silvana and Fernando are both still in Casalattico. I am going there next May for a visit. I guess you can add me and my brother Antonio to the chart.

His Grandmother was Maria Civita Forte

died Aug 12, 1911 Casalattico, Italy
They married May 16, 1886 in Casalattico, Italy
They had 4 Children
Angelo Mezza April 23, 1887 Casalattico,Italy
Maria Mezza Aug 22,1895 Belfast This is My Grandmother!!!
Maria Luisa Mezza March 28,1897 Belfast
Adalina Mezza Dec 31,1898 Belfast

Now they at some point came back to Casalattico

born April 6 1891 in Genova, Italy

They had a child that died at a young age in Casalattico, Italy
and then 3 other sons together

I have been to Casalattico, Italy and was so fortunate to meet some of the Forte Family my second cousin and 5th cousin. But really interested in trying to find out more of the Mezza's and Di Lucia side. Any and all Information would be great!!!

My family name is Mezza and we are from Detroit, MI.
Mom & Dad were born here in America but their parents were born in Italy. My mothers family (Mastrogiovanni) is from a village somewhere outside of Rome. Before my father died, I asked him about where my grand-parents lived in Italy. He said they came from a village called Casa. I tried looking for it on the Italian map, but could never find it. So, after reading your posts here, I'm thinking it might actually be Casalattico.

My Grandfathers name was Francis Mezza and married Angelina Appolito.
They had two sons in Detroit, Michigan ...Tom Mezza & Louis Mezza

Hey Joe, Grandpa Frank Mezza married Angelina Ponciroli (Appolito was our maternal grandmother's maiden name - Teresa Appolito). Our Grandma Angelina came from Cujione (or something like that) in Italy (Lombardy)

I have a Mezza family member in my family line. A John Mezza (b. Sept 20, 1928 - d. Jan 2000) lived in Utica NY and married a family member in my Sgroi family line. He was a semi-pro baseball player back in the day.

Robert Mezza who lives in Tennessee is my brother. He is the oldest of ten children born to Louis Mezza and Carmella (nee Mastrogiovanni) Mezza, of Detroit. My dad's parents were Frank & Angelina (nee Ponciroli) Mezza, both from Cujione (sp?) Lombardia, Italy. They had two sons, my dad Louis & his younger brother, Tom Mezza.
